KLTV Public, Educational & Governmental Access Television for Cowlitz County, WA TV

Who We Are

The building was constructed in 1923. It was originally occupied by Mason Ford. The paint booth is still intact upstairs. KLTV moved to this location in 1994 and purchased the building in 2003. The building has been solid, stately and historic but it is beginning to show its age. A roof repair was completed in 2007. The windows are mostly original and the siding needs refreshing. Below you will see a design drawing of what our facility will look like by late 2008.

Television for the Community, by the Community

The proposed KLTV facilities at 1706 12th Ave in Longview, WA. The windows are to be updated in energy efficiency and downgraded in size. The bottom of the windows will be uniform throughout both Vandercook Way and 12th Ave views. We believe this facility will fit in beautifully with the revitalization of our neighborhood. This will be a home for KLTV that we can be proud of. If you would like to contribute financially to the project, contact KLTV @ 636-3310 to purchase a foundation brick for $100.00.

“As of June 24th,2008, the extensive refurbishing of the KLTV facility located at 1706 12th Ave Longview is 95% complete. Interstate Roofing has installed new windows through out, updated siding and a fresh paint scheme.  The change from old to new has been amazing. We believe you can agree, KLTV has become a valued addition to Down Town Longview. Please visit in person for your tour of the building, you will no doubt be amazed.”
