Orientation                
Provides an introduction to community access television, the Do’s and Don’ts of access television, planning your production, tour of the KLTV facility.
Is required of all interested persons. (3 hour class) Free.

Basic Camcorder                  
Hands on camcorder instrction using the Sony 2000, tripod.; basics of good framing: rule of thirds, head room, lead, WALLDO, silhouetting, white balance, etc. . (3 hours)
Prerequisites: attendance at Orientation class
Fees: $10 plus 5 hours volunteer camera work under supervision of  experienced camera person.
         (or 10 hours volunteer work)

Intro to Newtek TriCaster
Field production, graphics, non-linear editing using  Newtek Tricaster.
Prerequisites: attendance at Orientation class and Basic camcorder class.
Fees: $10  plus 5 hours volunteer work under supervision of  experienced TriCaster operator.
            (or 10 hours volunteer work)

Intro to Non-Linear Editing I
The basices of non-linear editing in the  RT with Adobe Premiere.
Prerequisites: attendance at Orientation class and the basic camcorder class.
Fees: $10    (or 10 hours volunteer work)

Intro to Non-Linear Editing I I
Basics of Adobe Photoshop and its use in creating graphics for use in Premiere and/or the control room VT4.
Additional training in Premiere.
Prerequisites: attendance at Orientation class and Non-Linear Editing I class.
Fees: $10    (or 10 hours volunteer work)

Studio Production I   
The first of three classes in studio operations: Basic Control Room equipment do’s and don’ts; basic VT4 set –up and titles;  basic equipment operation and safety,
Prerequisites: attendance at Orientation class
Fees: $10 plus 5 hours volunteer studio work under supervision of  experienced  person.
         (or 15 hours volunteer work)

Studio Production II              
Field production in the KLTV van using the VT4 and periferals.
Prerequisites: attendance at Orientation class and studio production I.
Fees: $10 plus 5 hours volunteer studio production under supervision of  experienced  person.
         (or 15 hours volunteer work)

Studio Production III
Intro to Lightwave 3D Modeling and Animation, VT Special Effects & Chroma Key.
Prerequisites: attendance at Orientation class and studio production I
Fees: $10   (or 15 hours volunteer work)
